Aims

Increase the knowledge among healthcare professionals on the latest treatments and best practices that can serve the fasting patient.

Conference Objectives

- Discuss the physiological changes, risks and benefits of fasting, treatment strategies and management modification of the different diseases that are affected by fasting Ramadan. This includes but not limited to diabetes, hypertension, heart diseases, kidney disease, among others.

- Recognize how Ramadan affects health and how implementing lifestyle changes can improve quality of life, such as nutrition plans, organizing sleep, choosing the best time and type to exercise and smoking cessation.

- Illustrate the spiritual and religious issues related to the fasting patient and his overall health.

معرفة آراء المتخصصين حول أحدث العلاجات وأفضل الممارسات التي يمكن أن تخدم المريض الصائم.

أهداف المؤتمر:

مناقشة التغيرات الفسيولوجية ومخاطر وفوائد الصيام على المرضى، واستراتيجيات العلاج وتكييفها للأمراض المختلفة التي يتأثر بها صيام رمضان. وهذا يشمل على سبيل المثال لا الحصر مرض السكري وارتفاع ضغط الدم وأمراض القلب وأمراض الكلى وغيرها.

- التعرف على مدى تأثير رمضان على الصحة وكيف يمكن أن يؤدي تغيير نمط الحياة إلى تحسين جودة الحياة، مثل خطط التغذية وتنظيم النوم واختيار أفضل وقت ونوع لممارسة الرياضة والإقلاع عن التدخين.

- توضيح الجوانب الشرعية والأحكام الفقهية المتعلقة بالصائم وصحته العامة
